I weeped as she cried aloud,
It went on for hours together;
No way out could be found,
For the sin committed by her.
A war waged furious in my heart,
Between two feelings so prominent;
The love for her that I had since ages,
And the anger risen at the moment.
I know little about the victory or loss,
But about the barrened battlefield;
Where no emotion grounded a step after,
My heart, no love it could yield.
My heart was dead to make the decision,
My mind refused to make a call of such kind;
In a dilemma I was left, to walk her along,
Or whether to leave her behind.
