Born at Mira Road, Thane, Maharashtra (India), DK has spent majority of his life at the place. His father, Mr. Sunilkant Khetan, is an employee at a private firm, and mother, Mrs. Seema Khetan is an entrepreneur, the founder of Ashirwad Pvt. Tuitions based at Mira Road. The family also consists of his elder sibling, Ms. Nidhi Khetan, who currently pursues an employment at Swiss Re at New York, USA.

The extended family is also majorly based in and around Mumbai, including the paternal and the maternal sides.

DK pursued his schooling at N. L. Dalmia High School, which also is situated in Mira Road, Thane. It was this place that he considers to be responsible majorly for the shaping up of his personality as a whole. The school held him decent regards as a student, and gave him extensive opportunities at various kinds of co-curricular and extra curricular activities. His achievements at events of varied genres made him a “Jack of all trades” and thereby also made him capable of going on to become the School Captain of N. L. Dalmia High School during the academic year 2012-13.

His junior college days were later spent at Kota, Rajasthan, as he prepared to appear for his engineering entrance examinations. He studied at Resonance Eduventures Ltd., and was also a student of Shiv Jyoti Sr. Sec. School.

After completing his schooling at Kota, Rajasthan, DK was admitted into Manipal Institute of Technology as a student of Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and engineering in the year 2015. Little did he know that Manipal was a land of opportunities that was about to twist his fate in a manner unknown.

The college not only gave him the grounds to become a future engineer in the field of Computer Science, but also allowed him to explore his interests in the field of literature, dance, dramatics and entrepreneurship. It was in his first year at MIT that he began setting up his literary blog, for his love of poetry.

The REAPERS Dance Crew at MIT gave him an entirely new edge by introducing him to the arena of dance, which fascinated him enough for him to take it up professionally later in life. He also assumed the role of President of The REAPERS Dance Crew during the academic year 2016-17.

An add-on to his artistic freak was given to him by ADA Dramatics from MIT, where he learnt enough about being an actor of the theatre.

Apart from this, he also gained knowledge related to entrepreneurship during his tenure as the Financial Coordinator of MUTBI-SEC (Manipal University Technical Business Incubator – Student Entrepreneurship Cell) during the academic year 2017-18.

Soon after joining The REAPERS Dance Crew, DK began developing it as a long-term hobby. After over a year of training under the senior dancers of the crew, he began shooting dance videos casually, as a pastime. It wasn’t long before he started developing his YouTube Channel on a serious note. This was followed by his social media marketing on platforms such as Facebook. Instagram and Twitter.

His seniors from the crew continue to guide and advise him regularly regarding his dance activities, which you can read all about here.

After completing his education as an engineer, DK now plans to take up dance as his profession in the near future and make a significant mark in the field.
